Abstract The vast range of applications for enzymes in the production biofuels has led to a major increase market demand recent years. Cellulase's high cost and poor catalytic efficiency are two key barriers industrial usage lignocellulosic biomass as feedstocks fuels biorefineries. In this study, economic evaluation cellulase solid-state fermentation was done by designing process routes (batch semi-batch) optimize process. SuperPro Designer Software been used create model that assessed economics operations while Monte Carlo conduct sensitivity analysis investigation. impacts yield, productivity, aeration rate specific power input on unit (UPC) enzyme were studied. batch procedure requires more sterilized air aerobic than semi-batch approach, according results. comparison process, approach had payback period less 2 years, an internal return 39.14% net present value $142 089 000. higher feasibility when compared with since it is certain attain its base case UPC at maximum. This research developing pathway reduces costs improving supply use biorefinery produce sustainable fuel.
